A Tribute By 100 Women And Homeless Children


A tribute to the innocent lives claimed by the Mumbai Bomb blast was held on 15th July 2011 next Egmore Railway station on the street, behind Veeran Alagu Muthu Khon Statue. 

The Mumbai blast, which claimed the life of 21, has raised terror and agony in the hearts of Indians. It is unfortunate that Mumbai has become a soft target for terrorists. Mere statements of punishing of the culprits are not enough. There is an urgent need of raising awareness about the mishaps and to prevent further trauma. 

The Chennai being another populated city need to be alert and more cautious to avoid a similar tragedy again. Indian Community Welfare Organization and Action Aid India are organized the Tribute for the innocent people who lost their life in the Mumbai Blast, Participating 100 Homeless women and Children are expressing their solidarity and togetherness where they need the  most at this time. A Tribute to people who died due to Mumbai Blast.

The participants for the tribute will be 100 women and homeless children organised by ICWO &  Actionaid. Indian Community Welfare Organisation- I.C.W.O is at AP-216, 18th Main Road, 'I' Block, 6th Street,Vallalar Colony, Anna Nagar West, Chennai - 600 040.
