A separate share auto zone and a bus bay has been formed with barricades at Thirumangalam stop along Anna Nagar Second Avenue Road. The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) has set up a bus bay at many important and busy stops for the convenience of those travelling by bus. The separate share autos zone was created to prevent autos form stopping in front of bus stops. These share autos park near bus stand, in very large numbers, leading to traffic jams in the area. The purpose of the bus bay was to help commuters to board MTC buses easily.
