LDSFT is planning to start Spiritual Satsangh events in our temples, as an educational event on Sundays by a group of devotees of in our temples. Satsanghs as well known to us will include variety of programmes, mostly related to the Bhakthi, Bhajans,and Devotional aspects of Hindu Dharma practice. Recently Dr. Bala N. Aiyer, MD has been working with a group of members in organising Spititual Satsangh events at Sri Meenakshi Temple, Houston, Texas, USA every Sunday.On similar pattern, Spiritual Satsangh in Tamil Nadu Temples will include lectures and discussions on Spiritual aspects of Hindu Religious studies, including discussions on teachings of our Sages, ancient and modern, including Sri Ramana Maharishi, Sri Adi Sankara, Sri Ramanuja, Sri Kanchi Paramacharya, studies of Veda, Shad-Dharsanas, Vedantha, Yoga, Bhakthi, Valmiki Ramayana, Bhagavd Gita, Puranas, and such varied faith based studies. These events will also include recitation of prayer slokas and singing of Bhajans, including explanations of their meaning, talks by guest speakers and discourses on the relevant Deities of the temple, history of the temple etc.For details contact Dr. R.
