Chennai Corporation Installs New Bus Shelters!

 The Chennai Corporation has installed new modern bus shelters along bus stops at 2nd Avenue Road, Chintamani bus stop, Round tana bus stop and also at Anna Arch bus stop.All the old Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus shelters in the city will soon to be replaced with modern stainless steel bus shelters by  the Chennai Corporation.

Nearly 740 bus shelters across the city will be modernized by the Chennai Corporation as part of its efforts to make their design uniform.

The stainless steel bus shelters are designed with  space for advertisement and maximum comfort for the commuters.The Chennai city roads where new bus shelters  have erected  include Mount Road, Mylapore- Dr.Radhakrishnan Salai, Santhome High Road, Nungambakkam-College Road, Egmore-Gandhi Irwin Road and Pantheon Road, Tank Bund Road, Adyar-LB Road, Parrys- N. S. C. Bose Road, Arcot Road, Kodambakkam High Road, Greenways Road etc.
