Saliyar’s Mahajan Sangh

The monthly meeting of Saliyar’s Mahajan Sangh Chennai Branch was held on 29th May 2011 at 10.00am at Mahalakshmi Builders, No-107/ 59, P.S.Sivaswamy Salai, Mylapore, Chennai 4. The meeting was presided over by Shri.S.Namasivayam( Anand Institute of Higher Technology  Chennai) in the presence of Shri T.Pragatheesweran, DME, Vice-President of the branch. 

The meeting commenced with prayers  for Shri.S.Thanumalayan. Pulavar S.Karuppuswamy welcomed the gathering. After Arupukottai Shri.T.S.Thavasamani’s poetries, Shri. S.Thirunavukarasu greeted all those who celebrated their birthdays and wedding days during the period under review. Prof.Dr.K.G.Palany Ph.D ( Dr.Ambedkar College, Vyasarapadi, Chennai), delivered a speech on Higher Education and its job opportunities.

A tribute was made to Shri.Marimuthu’s  mother Smt.Pathrakaliammal who passed away on 12.05.2011.In future invitation for the branch meeting will be notified by SMS and not by post.In future meetings of the branch  will be held once in three months on the last Sunday of the third month.

Members are requested to send the mark list of their children who procured  400 marks in the 10th std and 960 marks in Plus Two exam.The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks by Shri.A.Palaniswamy, B.Sc, Co-ordinating Secretary.
