Nutrition Garden is primarily intended for continuous supply of fresh fruits, vegetables throughout the year. Month of July is the ideal condition for raising the fruit crops and vegetables at the backyard of house. A one day training programme on “Fruits and Vegetables Cultivation in Urban Areas” will be conducted by the Urban Horticulture Development Centre (UHDC) of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Wednesday on 29.06.2011 between 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.The programme will be useful to house wives, farmers, entrepreneurs, youths, SHG, NGO’s and students, etc. Training certificates, lunch will be issued to all participants.
