Easy vehicle movement towards Anna Nagar

The completion of the much-awaited Padi flyover  had facilitate smooth flow of traffic at the junction where now traffic pile-up lasts for hours. The Padi signal junction, was a traffic bottleneck until the  grade separator came up. The Padi Grade Separator connects important areas in the city like Villivakkam, Anna Nagar and Mogappair  came as a boon to commuters as the travel time reduced drastically. The Padi  flyover has reduced the travel time drastically, enabling free movement of traffic across the junction. In turn, the connectivity in these areas and even beyond, like Ambattur , all the way upto Avadi  has improved, making it the next hot destination real estate developers. National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has taken steps to remove the automatic traffic signal at the Padi junction. Motorists, from Padi towards Anna Nagar side have to take the flyover to reach their destination.
