As the metro rail work is going on along the Anna Nagar Second Avenue road. Several parts of the road stretch has been taken up for the work. Due to which the road space has been reduced. Since there is less road space the Metro Rail officials has now installed caution boards at many points along the Anna Nagar Second Avenue road, Chintamani signal and at Pulla Avenue in Shenoy Nagar to alert the motorists to go slow and be alert.
This is done to prevent accidents. The Chennai Metro Rail work has begun in full swing in various locations across Anna Nagar
