Anna Nagar Railway Station Wears A Neglected Look

The Anna Nagar railway station was inaugurated on October 2, 2003, with services run between Anna Nagar and Beach station. The project was originally planned to connect Koyambedu Market/ CMBT with Central station via Anna Nagar. Today the railway station has a neglected look with  dirty surroundings.

Many are hopping that the railway authorities would re-start the train services which was stopped in view of the Padi flyover. Even though the flyover has  be completed and opened to public use, there is still no positive signs about restarting the train service from Anna Nagar to Beach station. which now has been completed
