The city's Metro rail is shaping up fast with work at all locations progressing. The photo shows the on going pillar construction for the Chennai Metro Rail,at the CMBT Koyambedu bus terminus In view of the Metro Rail construction work to be carried out at the Koyambedu terminus, Transport authorities has made certain changes in the MTC bus movement at the terminus. A line of pillars have come up along the middle of the 100 feet road on the Koyambedu-Vadapalani stretch. The Chennai Metro rail project aims at providing the people of the city with a fast, reliable, convenient, efficient, modern of public transport, which is properly integrated with other forms of public and private transport including buses, sub-urban trains and MRTS.
