There is frequent sewage overflow along several parts of Konnur High road in Ayanavaram area.It is observed that many manholes are overflowing with sewage causing health hazard to the motorists and pedestrians as well. What is causing concern is the poor response from the CMWSSB officials to plug this problem. K. Ramadoss, President of North Chennai District Exnora, stated that the concerned authorities should rectify the problem at the earliest and take measures to replace the old pipes with bigger ones to accommodate the increased flow.
