The area surrounding the Metropolitan Transport Corporation, ICF bus stop for route 20, 27D, 48, 120 going towards Villivakkam, Ambattur and Avadi needs attention. The bus passengers stated that the bus shelter is surrounded by wild bushes and needs a better environment surrounding. There is also an open drainage lying parallel to the bus shelter causing an health hazard to the people waiting at the bus stop.
Better road lights is also needed, said the ICF residents. More over there is no proper shelter for people waiting for routes 46, 47, 46G going towards Perambur and Villivakkam. The neglected MTC bus stop is waiting for a new change. The terminus is in need of improvement for the passengers and MTC bus crew as well.
The terminus has a ugly surroundings. Even though the old Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus shelters are on their way out and new spacious shelters are coming up in its place. The ICF bus commuters are longing to see a new shelter getting ready at ICF bus stop, with facilities like comfortable seats.
