Waterlogged T S Krishna Nagar Roads


The main roads around Velammal Gardens, T S Krishna Nagar in Mogappair East gets waterlogged and slushy whenever it rains. Road users at TS Krishna Nagar faced unwanted troubles due to waterlogging in parts of the road. 

The slippery road with plenty of potholes and rough patches makes vehicle movement risky at of most of the places. Residents in Mogappair East and West continue to suffer a lot due uneven roads. 

It is reported that little much has been done to improve the road conditions at Mogappair which has now been worsened by the rain.

The availability of CNG variants adds to Alto 800’s attraction.

Alto 800 will be manufactured at Company’s state-of-the-art Gurgaon facility and will be available in 3 Petrol variants and 3 factory fitted CNG variants. At 22.74 kmpl the fuel efficiency of the Alto 800, is up by a whopping 15 per cent. This has been possible with focused efforts in engine engineering. The use of new generation engine and transmission lubricants helps to reduce frictional losses and further to enhances performance. The all new Alto 800 will surely be a diver’s delight. The New Alto 800 will also be exported to Latin American and African countries from January 2013 onwards.

Metro Rail Will Be A Rapid Transport System In Chennai


Chennai Metro Rail is a rapid transit system in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Phase I of the project consisting of two corridors is under construction. The elevated section of the project is scheduled to be operational by 2013 and the entire project is scheduled to be completed by the financial year 2014-2015. 

About 55% of the corridors in Phase I is underground and the remaining is elevated. Currently, the city has a good network of MTC buses plying to different places. Despite the improvement measures traffic congestion has continued to be an issue for both the residents and the city government. 

As a result, the Chennai Metro project was formed to be the future mode of transportation for Chennai. After the success of the Delhi Metro, a similar system has been planned for the city of Chennai by E. Sreedharan of the DMRC.A total of 7 lines have been planned.Two routes are currently under construction.
