New Facility Has Eased Nelson Manickam Road Junction

The new bridge facility near the junction of Poonamallee High Road-Nelson Manickam Road has eased vehicle movement.

The bridge, which has been thrown open for traffic, has helped to reduce congestion at the spot, which was a chaotic.

But the pedestrians still face risk while crossing the road or while walking  along the main road.

The old bridge was narrow and invariably there was a pile up of vehicles at the point during peak hours.

The  new bridge helped to decongest the junction. It is now easy for the motorists to take a left turn at the signal.
