Soil Testing For CMRL

Soil testing work is presently taking place at different spots along the Anna Nagar Second Avenue Road in view of the Chennai Metro Rail project.

The motorists and pedestrians are advised to be cautions while passing through the CMRL working spots. 

This process  will help CMRL know the details of the soil, before starting the project. The soil test will explore the soil strength and other details before tunnel-boring machines can take over at a later stage.Chennai Metro Rail Limited has already commenced soil testing work along Mount Road and Poonamallee High Road.

Kambar Colony Park Getting Renovated!

The Kambar Colony playground cum park is getting renovated by the Chennai Corporation Zone-5 authorities. The Kambar Colony Welfare Association members and residents specially thanks and appreciates  J.C.D. Prabhakar, MLA,  Chennai Corporation Zone-5 Assistant Commissioner- Parasuraman, EE-Kannan, P.K.Sekar- Councillor of Division-64, Shanmugam the former EE of Zone 5 and C.Prathap Asst. Engineer of Division-64. and the entire staff and workers of Chennai Corporation Zone5, Division-64 who made it possible. The play ground cum park will have a lawn, well paved walkers path and modern facilities.
