The 117th annual feast of Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, Perambur was held in a grand manner from 2nd to 13th February 2017 with processions, special blessings, prayers and Holy Mass. On Saturday, 11th February 2017 the main celebrant was Most Rev. Dr.Antony Pappusamy, Archbishop of Madurai. This is the first shrine in India dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes in the year 1897, in remembrance of Her apparition in Lourdes, France in the year 1858. This shrine is located at Paper Mills Road,Perambur, Chennai.
