Alwarpet Benefit Fund Ltd will be commencing the issue of cheques towards the 12th Installment of 5 percent of the principal amount subjected to a minimum of Rs.1000/- to Savings, Recurring and Fixed Deposit Account Holders from 19th October 2011. In respect of depositors residing outside Chennai, the cheques are payable at par. The cheques are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of the cheque.
The cheques drawn on Indian Bank, Abhiramapuram Branch, Chennai-18 will be delivered through Repute Express Courier for Chennai depositors and through Professional Courier for outstation depositors. Inclusive of the XII installment, the repaid total amount is Rs.74 Crores. The depositors are requested not to visit the office since cheques will not be handed over in person.
